2012年6月SAT考试在今天上午进行完毕，作文题目如下。

这道题属于高频话题 “独立思考”和“挑战权威”类，比较好写的观点应该是同意we should take a stand against opinions that we think are wrong.

万能SAT作文例子也非常好举：

比较经典的例子有 Copernicus，John Nash，Galileo,  Descartes,  Jobs等等。这里给出一个学生不是很常写的例子，供希望成为高分学员的孩子们参考：

It is those who can bravely speak out against erroneous opinions that drive the progression of science. The discovery of the circulation of the blood by William Harvey, an English physician in 17^th century, could well exemplify this. Before Harvey discovered the circulation, Galen had been an influential medical authority for several centuries, and his ideas were widely taught and accepted within context in western and eastern medical encyclopedic references. However, his perception of the role of the heart in the circulation of the blood was, in effect, inaccurate. Refusing to blindly follow Galen’s theory, in which the function of the heart was perceived to heat the blood, Harvey, through his rigorous studies, found out that the true function of the heart was to pump blood. To deliver this truth to the public, Harvey published his findings, becoming the first person who completely and in detail described blood circulation. It was his work that laid the foundation for modern physiology. Had Harvey not challenged Galen’s theory, which he thought was wrong, the progress in the field of physiology would have been delayed for years.

另外，谈到SAT机经，6月份的考题在之前国际和北美考区都出现过类似题目，例如：

北美考区：Is it important to question the ideas and decisions of people in positions of authority? (2006.10)

北美考区：Is it always best to determine one's own views of right and wrong, or can we benefit from following the crowd? (2007.5)

国际考区： Is criticism--judging or finding fault with the ideas and actions of others--essential for personal well-being and social progress? (2007.11)

国际考区：Are widely held views often wrong, or are such views more likely to be correct? (2008.6)
